The Programmable Terminal AID Alpha is the smallest and the newest between our programmable terminals.

Basic Features

• Capability of displaying characters with accents and Cyrillic alphabet
• One communication interface which has two connectors: RS-232C and RS-422/485, the interface is common for programming and communication
• Function of the communication line is indicated by LEDs
• Alphanumeric LCD display 2 x 16 characters with LED backlight
• Keyboard with a high degree of protection against dust and water
• Possibility to adapt the keyboard print to the customer's need
• In the case of damage the foil keyboard can be easily changed by customer (the keyboard terminal is connected via a connector)
• Both firmware and user program are stored in flash memory
• The firmware can be upgraded by the user (up to date version is freely downloadable on our internet pages www.apex-lib.cz)
• Direct connection to the peripheral port of the PLC Omron (without the CIF converter)

The operation of the Terminal is controlled by an user program, which is created on the PC compatible computer by means of the programming software APT2 (it is delivered with each Terminal).
