Programmable Terminals - Overview

Programmable Terminals are destined mainly for connection to industrial programmable controllers where they can serve as an intelligent monitoring and control unit. There are three series of the Programmable Terminals produced: the Series 390 contains the types APT Micro and APT Premium, the Series 552 contains the types APT40A-22A and APT80A-24A and the third newest series is so far constituted by our smallest type AID Alpha.

  • Keyboard with high degree of protection against dust and water, the state of all keys can be sent to the PLC
  • Separate interfaces for programming and for communication
  • Communication line's function is indicated by LEDs
  • Bridge mode - both the terminal and the PLC connected to it can be programmed via one common cable
  • The system messages can be displayed in English, Czech or German
  • Larger quantities can be delivered with customer-specific print of the keyboard

The operation of the Terminal is controlled by an user program, which is created on the PC compatible computer by means of the programming software APT2 (it is delivered with each Terminal).
